About Bikram Yoga
Bikram's Yoga of Sonoma Voted Best Yoga Studio in Sonoma/Napa 2007!
Bikram's Beginning Yoga Class is a demanding series of 26 postures, and two breathing exercises, which is suitable for all ages and levels of ability. Each posture stretches and strengthens specific muscles, ligaments and joints needed for the next posture. The Bikram method also stimulates the organs, glands and nerves, moving fresh oxygenated blood to 100 percent of the body, restoring all systems to a healthy working order.
About the Teacher
Nada is six foot three inches tall. Bikram himself calls her "Miss Lampost." She began studying Bikram's Yoga in 2002 to help her heal basketball injuries from over 25 years of playing at the professional level in Europe. With diligent commitment, she healed her physical injuries, but also learned that Bikram yoga can help heal deep emotional pain as well. It was then she set a goal for herself to become a cerified teacher, open her own studio and spread this type of yoga to as many people as possible. Nada speaks three languages, has lived in three different continents in four different countries. She survived the war in Bosnia where she had her own law offices before the war started. She also sold real estate in California for six years. Nada's goal is to share every bit of knowledge and experience she accumulated throughout her interesting and unique life. She feels blessed to be able to do this for a living. |
